Quilts of Valor is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to honoring service members and veterans by presenting them with quilts made by caring volunteers. These quilts are more than handmade gifts—they are a tangible expression of gratitude, comfort, and appreciation for the sacrifices made in service to our country.
Northwest Oregon Quilts of Valor is an open-to-the-public Facebook group sharing Quilts of Valor information, events, Sew Days, and downloadable patterns, with a focus on the Molalla, Woodburn, and Canby areas. The group also works with TVQG by providing information about Quilts of Valor activities and opportunities for members to participate.
Throughout the year, TVQG members have been creating red, white, and blue blocks that will be incorporated into Quilts of Valor. These quilts will be presented to deserving veterans and service members as a special recognition of their service.

The Friends of Hopewell House Quilt Program provides patients with a handmade quilt of their choice, created by generous community members who donate their time, talent, and materials.
The quilt remains with the patient throughout their care. Following the patient’s death, the quilt becomes part of their passage observance with family, friends, and caregivers. The family is then invited to take the quilt home as a meaningful and cherished keepsake.
